Lemon New Releases For October

Spencer Davis Group - Gluggo
Spencer Davis Group make a welcome return to Cherry Red this month with the release of their 1973 follow up album to "With Their New Faces On". This album helped re-launch the band after the departure of keyboard player and lead singer Steve Winwood, who left to form Traffic. Unavailable for a number of years, and featuring 6 bonus tracks, this is a fantastic addition to our growing SPG catalogue, and an absolute must for fans!

Young Marble Giants - Live At The Hurrah
To accompany our recent DVD release, we are pleased to announce the release of a the first ever full live album release to feature the Young Marble Giants, "Live At The Hurrah". YMG formed in 1979 and were a three-piece from Cardiff, Wales consisting of Stuart Moxham (guitars, keyboards), his brother Phil (bass), and Alison Statton (voice). Their recording career lasted only two years but they garnered a loyal and devoted fan base that still exists to this day.

Graham Parker - The Real McCaw
Originally released in 1983, this is one of Graham Parkers more collectable and sought after albums. After the success of "The Art Vandelay" on Lemon, it seems fitting to release this GP classic (this album has been bought and sold by collectors for some $90 dollars in recent years!!!), which has been deleted on CD for some 12 years now.

Bang Tango - The Ultimate Rockers & Thieves
This is yet another first for Lemon Recordings: The Best of Bang Tango! From the same stable as Faster Pussycat, LA Guns and Slaughter, this 1990's LA  band were huge in the US and Europe during the decade, and are now acknowledged by Classic Rock magazine as one of the most underrated bands of the era. The album features Traci Gunns, and Randy Castillo amongst others and also includes two Marc Bolan covers and some remixes that have never been released before.
This will certainly appeal to fans of Faster Pussycat, Guns and Roses and all fans of Hollywood/LA Rock from the 80's and 90's

Desmond, Child and Rogue - Desmond, Child and Rogue
Where would the rock world be without Desmond Child?  He has in recent years, written number 1 hits for Bon Jovi, Cher, Aerosmith, Kiss and so many more. This album has never ever been released on CD anywhere before EVER!! It was originally released in 1979 and can quite honestly be deemed a forgotten classic. It also contains 2 songs which were hits for Kiss and Cher years later retrospectivley! The album strongly features Paul Schaffer [David Letterman's band leader] and Paul Stanley of rock legends Kiss. It is also important to point out that the album has been lovingly remastered at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios!
